Meet the Doctors
Dr. Jill Morris and Dr. Burr Bakke have been in private practice for more than 30 years. They have created World Class Dentistry and Facial Esthetics® in Sarasota, Florida, a facility that offers services including surgical implants, bone grafts, smile makeovers, non-surgical facelifts, and multiple facets of dentistry and facial esthetics eliminating the need to visit multiple locations to receive care.
Lasers, Cat Scans, and important technology are on site. Non-surgical facelifts are achieved through rebuilding the collapsed and worn teeth, midface and profile development through DNA nighttime appliances, as well as Botox and dermal fillers. Patients with sleep disorders also benefit from many of the procedures that Dr. Morris and Dr. Bakke perform. Those patients suffering from gum disease benefit from their non-surgical laser treatment. All general dentistry services are performed.
Both doctors have taught dentists from around the world neuromuscular full mouth rehabilitation at the world-renowned Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI). Their practice was featured in the book, How to Create an Exceptional Aesthetic Practice. Dr. Morris is one of only 350 dentists worldwide to achieve accreditation status with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Bakke has received his fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantology. Both Drs. Morris and Bakke received their fellowship with the International Academy of Dental Facial Esthetics.
The Power of Two
Dr. Bakke and Dr. Morris offer their patients a unique service by combining years of talent and expertise all under one roof. They both had very successful practices before combining forces in 2004. They met as clinical instructors at the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies, a prestigious one-of-a-kind post graduate live patient teaching facility for dentists from around the world. Dentists fly in with their own patients to perform advanced restorative, cosmetic, and neuromuscular procedures. Dr. Morris and Dr. Bakke were assigned dentists to instruct in performing full mouth neuromuscular rehabilitation. They have taught with some of the brightest talent in the world. They both had very successful practices before merging…Dr. Bakke practiced in downtown Dallas, and Dr. Morris practiced in Sarasota. As individuals, both practices were featured in the book by Dr. Nate Booth and Dr. Bill Dickerson “How to Create an Exceptional Aesthetic Practice”, written in 2002.
Dr. Bakke joined Dr. Morris’s practice in 2004. He graduated from the Carl Misch Implant Institute in Detroit Michigan. Dr. Bakke does all aspects of surgery including implants, sinus grafts, bone grafts, and gum surgeries. Because of his training in occlusion, he also restores the implants to the correct neuromuscular bite position. Dr. Morris is the only accredited cosmetic dentist in Sarasota and is trained in neuromuscular bite reconstruction and full mouth reconstruction. She pioneered the dental face lift. They are both certified in lasers and treat gum disease non-surgically. They are also certified in the DNA appliance that triggers sleeping stem cells to awaken and complete the structures of the face to aid in treating TMJ, bad bites, and sleep problems such as sleep apnea. The uniting of their training in various fields of dentistry allows them to treat patients comprehensively for a better life and health. Dr. Morris’s was encouraged by her patients to master botox and dermal fillers because of her artistic eye and attention to detail. She is known for her natural lips, cheeks, and global sculpting of the face. This treatment can be combined with hygiene appointments or other dental procedures.
Many patients only require general dentistry. They can be assured that the most up-to-date and least invasive treatment will be performed. There is always a focus on better quality of life and improved health. In Conclusion, a patient receiving care at World Class Dentistry and Facial Esthetics® can expect the latest advancements in treatment, whether they receive only general dentistry or more comprehensive complex dentistry.
